ZOHAR

National Chair Dr. Asaf Zohar

Dr. Asaf Zohar is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Business Administration Program at Trent University. He previously held the position of Assistant Professor and Program Director of the MBA Strategy Field Study at the Schulich School of Business, York University. He has directed courses in strategic analysis, creative problem solving, and change management at both the MBA and BBA levels. At both York and Trent University he has pioneered the incorporation of principles of sustainability, creative problem solving, systems thinking, and organizational learning into the curriculum. He has received numerous learning facilitation awards at the Schulich School. Dr. Zohar’s research and facilitation in the area of organizational change and sustainability is focused on the challenges of implementing sustainability initiatives in organizations. He is also the National President of Canadian Academics for Peace in the Middle East, an organization  that aims to protect civil and scholarly discourse as it pertains to the State of Israel  and the Middle East on university and college campuses across Canada
